Typeographical Portraits

Students in Art through Technology created typeographical portraits in honor of the person that has inspired, motivated and helped them towards their future or been a role-model. Using Adobe Illustrator, each student created a compositional interest enhanced through the combination of shapes and the spaces that are created around them. Students demonstrated their understanding of the Principles and Elements of design value, contrast and form by using type to create a portrait of a person that is important in their world or who has helped them in their future.
